New Generation for NRK?

Hey everyone!

Happy on a Sunday. Could it get any better? I gotta do some work today, but I still got a chance to enjoy the last day of my vacation I think. What the heck? There is going to be a ski race on TV now, and the lap is so strange. Well, they may do whatever they want. I feel sorry for them anyway. It is a 30 km pursuit for men, so I guess they’re trained for that kind of thing. I know I’m not, so it’s easier for me to say that it’s a strange lap.

OMG. I feel sorry for the guy all the way to the back of the skiers. It’s impossible for him to get at the front. Lol. Why is he joining anyway? I feel sorry for him. He’s like: dude, slow down and let me through. Haha. Now I’m just being bad. Good luck to the guy all the way at the back. Remember, never say never. ;-)

Speaking of never saying never, the film Justin Bieber is in obviously were released at theaters yesterday. I didn’t have any huge plans of seeing it, but maybe I will. The genre obviously is more of a documentary kinda thing. So perhaps it’s just a documentary that belongs on TV instead. I don’t know, but if I choose to buy a ticket for the premiere in Norway, I really expect it to be good. I’m not a fan of documentaries, so it better not bore me out. If this documentary is going to be good, it better kick Discovery Channel’s butt. ;-)

Since I’m already talking about movies, I might say a little about the Norwegian TV channel NRK again. They really need to plan their broadcasting and such before broadcasting. One of the clips they were going to broadcast, and it didn’t work, so they sent the previous clip they broadcasted. I saw the same clip twice because they didn’t plan the broadcasting good enough. Also, some times they put the cameras at random spots of things that doesn’t make any sense.

It sounds like I’m trying to slain the whole channel, but for the hundred time: YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR CHANNEL! It feels so amateurish, and you should look better when an event like this is on the air. When the action happens, you do it pretty well, but I’m not satisfied about the quality you are giving us at the live shows. Do something about it, please.

The other channels that has live shows, they manage to do it pretty awesome. but NRK kinda screws it up a little bit. Use other TV channels as examples, and learn for them so you can become a better channel. You guys in NRK are doing a good job, but you could do it better - I know.

This better not harm my future carrier, because I’m helping the TV network to get better. If no one tells them what needs to be improved, then they’re gonna get weaker and weaker. We don’t want our oldest TV network to fade away because the quality is dropping. I’m helpful for you. I’m a little harsh while criticizing, but that’s how you learn. If I had a day with those who controls the broadcasting, I would help them as much as I can. I’m not educated. I’m not smart, but I know how to enjoy television. Listen to the viewers. They know. I just want the best for NRK, the other viewers and myself. :-)

Maybe they need a guy like me. A guys who’s doing nothing else than watching television to help them improve the quality of the broadcasting. Maybe that’s what I should do later in my carrier - work at a television network. I can criticize as much as I want. The TV network might not lift a finger to do something different because I say so. Maybe I should educate myself to help improving these networks without ruining it. We are a new generation. We know how TV should be.

I think Statoil is the one to day: «The heroes of tomorrow». Maybe it’s not only within music and sports. Maybe they need some heroes to improve TV as well. I’m just throwing a thought here. I don’t think anyone would mind improving a TV network. I wouldn’t mind if you told me in the comments if you agree or not. Is it just me who notice these kinda things or do you also notice them? Tell me.

Well, that better do for today. Hope you enjoy, and please comment or something. :-)

Justin Bieber, greatest breakthrough?

Hey you, how's it going?

It's great to have some days off once in a while. It's good to relax, do something with your friends, having fun... finally you got some time to do what you want. It' wonderful. So what are you doing this weekend? I'm only going to chill out, but if someone's available today I might give them a call. Maybe I should just sit down and enjoy the "stupidness" of Norwegian TV. It's a lot of crap you see on our screen.

I mean; they're sending hundreds of programs of woodchopping and fishing things. It's extremely boring. It's like: "Are the woodchopping choppers able to cut this tree?! Find out after the break", and when the break is over, it's like: "Yes, they could". OMG it so boring to watch hundreds of these kinds of programs about things that's not even interesting. It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's not entertaining... get it off the air, please!

That's why I try to watch American TV as much as I can. At least the Americans knows what to send. When something interesting is suppose to be send, they send it. When something entertaining is suppose to be send, they send it. When they're suppose to send something funny, they definitely send it. Why can't we have something funny, interesting and entertaining in Norway? They got some good stuff like "How I Met Your Mother", "Two and a Half Men" and the channel ESPN America, but that's not enough. They're sending "How I Met Your Mother" once a day. ONCE! That sucks. The greatest things only comes once a day. Even Sweden sends more of the great American (and Swedish) shows than us in Norway. Sweden is a head in front of us. America has a lot of heads on front of us. Norway needs to develop to survive. Well, for now, I guess I'll stick to the internet. The internet is much better. If only someone from the TV-channels in Norway like NRK, TV2, TV3 or Viasat 4 reed this.

They're also sending Simpsons, but they only send the oldest/those we've seen already. Update, Norwegian TV, update!

So, I just found out that Justin Bieber is nominated for The Brits - International Breakthrough Act (I know, I'm two days late). You know; even though I'm not the biggest fan of Justin, I'm happy for him. This is a young kid who became a huge star in no time, and he should be an inspiration for us all wanting to become a known musician. For me, he's more of an inspiration than a good musician, but who cares if the music is great if he's inspiring. I really want people to hear my music, and he's a huge inspiration source to be honest. Therefore, I want you to vote on Justin Bieber for The Brits - International Breakthrough Act. You simply click here to vote. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page, register yourself and vote. He deserves it, I think. If you think the opposite, good for you. If you don't like him, you might just wanna put your anger into the comments of THIS video. Of course, if you wanna tell me how bad/good you think Justin Bieber is, then please do. I don't mind. I respect the fact that other peoples got their own opinion about him. A musician is a person that a group of people like. No one said that everyone has to like him. ;-)

Wow, this is some news I couldn't resist looking at. There is a 25-year old Pakistani woman who's doing first grade in northwest Pakistan. She's married, and two of her three kids is her classmate. She actually enjoys being a student at a elementary school. I would never take first grade all over again, as a student. What's good about this is that she want to learn. She obviously hasn't learned a lot from the school she's been a student at (if she has been at school), so she thought it might be great to start at elementary school. That's shocking. It's great to start learning, but elementary school? The teacher is positive to that thought, and she even says he'll/she'll teach her during recess. The teacher also says that if she's educated, then the other family members will be educated as well. I believe that's true. The mother of three children is doing elementary school, then the kids will be able to educate themselves in a young age as well. If more people start educating themselves, maybe the country would be better to live in. More educated people, more people working and earning money. You can read more about this story here.

Well, that's it for todays blog. Stay tuned for more!

Peace.

Finding Your Best Friends

Ho-Ho guys!

So the Christmas Eve and the 1st Christmas day is over. Therefore I can go back to blogging again. Today I have no idea of what I'm gonna do. It would be so much better if I vlogged instead, cause then the action would happen while recording. That would be so great, to actually have something to show right a way instead try finding something to write. There's not enough by writing what I did today, and a little bit about something something important in our lives. Today I guess that I will be chilling a lot and just do whatever I want. There's gonna be a h*** of a day tomorrow, when I have to sell tickets for a party with my friends (which is a party I won't attend to even if I could). Well, since I wrote that in the "Blending In Without Blending It", I can add that I got some really supportive friends. Most of them supports me for being a person saying no to alcohol. Those friends I like to call "My Best Friends".

The real, best friends comes from those who actually care about you. It's OK to have a friend who only likes to play video games with you. That might be cool, but that's not who your best friend is. Your best friend is the one who supports you at those things that sucks, and who really cares about you. You need to support them as well, otherwise the other person won't support you. That's why I have a hard time telling who's my best friend(s). I really supports a lot of people, but they don't support me back. Therefore, they're not my best friends. That means that there is only a few persons I call "Best Friends". Your best friends isn't those who says: "I love you", a million times. Those you might just forget. A friendship is based on trust and being there for another one. If those simple things are missing, then forget it; it's not a friendship of a best friend.

You know, that's why I've been so skeptic about who's my best friends. Sometimes when you really think about what a best friend is, maybe the one you though was your best friend isn't. What people often associate a best friend with, is if it's possible to do something fun with him. That's what people think when they're trying to find out if this person really is your best friend. So for now, I'll just wait and see who really is my best friends. Luckily I've found some of my best friends. Now, this might be the only best friends I got. If it is, I'm really glad to have those best friends I got. They mean the world to me.
Let me know what you think a best friend is all about! The comments are free for all, so comment now!
LOL, I love "Home Alone". The first "Home Alone" movie is great. Kevin, the little kid left alone at home for Christmas, has some really funny expressions sometimes. For instance, when he's screaming in the bathroom. I think "Home Alone" is one of the greatest Christmas movies made of all time, after my opinion. There is this Christmas movie they always broadcast on NRK (our oldest TV channel as I've said earlier in my blog). It's called Cinderella and the three... nuts... x ). Anyway, a lot of people in Norway says that this movie is the best Christmas movie of all time. I kinda disagree. First of all; it's dubbed from Czech to Norwegian, where all of the characters (including the females) has the same man voice. Dennis Storhøi has a great voice for the dubbing, but I think the whole idea of dubbing the movie (and dubbing it like that) really is weird. Second of all; Home Alone is so much cooler :-D! It's a random fact, OK? :-D

You know that I've been telling you about me wanting to buy a Macbook Pro for a while? Well, dreams are about to become reality! I am finally gonna get myself a Macbook Pro 13 Inch, and I'm so exited about it! I've been saving money for a while now, and now I'm almost done. But my dad said that I couldn't wait for it anymore, so he said that he's paying the last part I haven't got yet (which I later will pay back). That's just too kind to do. So that means that I'm finally getting one. I hope I can order it in time to get here before the school starts, but I don't think I will make it. But it's all about ordering it and getting it as soon as possible that counts. I believe that I've bee very patient about the Macbook (even though I'm nagging about it all the time), so I don't want to wait any more. I'm really looking forward to buying it! I wouldn't be able to buy it now if I bought what I was supposed to buy to the XBOX 360, so it kinda saved me. I can't imagine pissed I would be if I had bought those things I were suppose to buy to my XBOX 360.

This was a long blog post, wasn't it? It's starting to come back. Well, I'm ending todays blog right here, but don't worry; I'm back tomorrow!

I'll see you later!
Friday, December 10

Oh, Dear TV!

Hi guys!

I've been sick today as well, so I haven't done anything huge. I've been lying on the sofa playing XBOX 360 and eating yogurt. So the entire day is based on trying to taking it easy. If you have felt the same as I have, you'll understand.

My weekend really started early. This weekend it's just gonna be me and my dad eating Mexican or something (I guess). Traditions is sometimes hard to break. That's why it's Mexican almost every Saturday. I haven't talked to him since Tuesday, so I don't know if it's just me and him or what. Whatever, I'm gonna have a great weekend. I got an exam on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so I really need a good weekend. That way I can give everything I got. I think I need to get some sleeping routines this weekend, so I don't wake up at 11 AM at my exam.

Have you ever missed an exam because you've slept too long? I thought it might be fun to ask if someone has so I can know how it is. I haven't done it, I'm not gonna do it, but still I wanna know. It gotta be a bad feeling when you wake up at examination day and notice that your three hours late (for instance). What happens if you don't show up? You get an F? Gives you grade based on your earlier performances? Sorry guys, I'm curious! I'm not gonna do it, trust me. That's the last thing I would done. Seriously. You have no idea about how much I care about my future.

By the way, I've been playing Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony a lot today. When I was playing, I were noticing that it's much harder than Grand Theft Auto IV. I've been having the game for a long time, but I think it's much harder than the first GTA IV version. Also, I find this version of Grand Theft Auto more fun. How is that possible? I thought this version of GTA just was a experiment. After my opinion, it's better. The weapons are cooler, cars are sweeter and it's cool to be Luis Lopez than Niko Belic. I don't know why it's cooler to use Luis Lopez, but I'm getting kinda tired of Niko Belic. When you're done doing the missions on GTA IV, your done. There is nothing else fun to do else than running around like an idiot, getting arrested and so on. The missions with Luiz Lopez on the other hand are possible to do even though you've completed the game. You can easily go back and complete the missions 100%. There are a couple of requirements the mission need to complete the mission a 100%. That's fun. If you haven't got the game Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (which contains "The Ballad of Gay Tony" and "The Lost and Damned") - get it! It's totally worth it. You'll notice that the game experience gets better. That's what I think and I suppose you do as I tell you, don't you? ;-)

Other thing I noticed when being sick today is that some Norwegian TV-channels really need improvements. There is one of the TV-channels that really should get a medal for being amateurish called NRK. It's the oldest TV-channel in Norwegian TV history, but isn't something to admire. I'm almost getting embarrassed by watching that channel, because they need to improve so much. Some of the hosts are being incredibly fake and old-school. Old-school is kinda OK, but that they're being fake? Oh no, not good. They're like "and now that's coming. And now this is coming. We're gonna visit a little fellow called Larry - he's a frog". I'm getting incredibly embarrassed. Also, one of the times when they we're doing the news, they had a reporter in Russia or something. He wasn't using ordinary cameras like they use during an interview. He was using a webcam. Come on, a webcam?! Oh that's embarrassing. Sorry for being ruff, but unfortunately this is true. They seemed kinda proud about using a webcam on the news, like it were a very huge improvement in todays technology. Well, it's kinda old and lousy. I'm not making a fool out of NRK, but I'm just saying that this channel need improvements. If I'm the only one that feels that this channel is like this, sorry, but this is how I see it. If you have been watching NRK in Norway sometime (or do it everyday), tell me if you agree. I'm only saying all of this to give you NRKs impression on me. It's me, I'm critical at a silver box I watch every day. :-)

All I'm about is giving you information, tips, advises and so on. I'm not into making other things look bad. This is what I think somebody thinks I'm doing since I'm telling what's bad about something else. My opinions should be compared to reviews instead of making others look bad. Don't get wrong impression about me. I don't want to hurt anyone. :-)

Well that's it for todays blog. Please stay tuned for tomorrows blog, take care and I'll see you later! :-)
