Fitness and Health
Hey guys!
Ah, today has been a wonderful day! The day started with a 12-hour sleep, which I needed obviously. Then I had a vegetable smoothie before eating a good breakfast, followed by another smoothie. This smoothie was made out of coffee and bananas. Trust me, it’s really good. The recipe is at the end of todays blog. Later I was suppose to have a ski-trip, but my mom has taken my skies. It’s hard to go on skies without skies, so I had a day of workout instead. Despite some interruption during the workout, it was a great session. My brother joined (no, he’s not the interruption), so my workout session went extremely well. That’s the great thing about having a bodybuilder as a brother. That’s what I call my hulk brother. ;-)
My dad said something incredibly smart, which is true of course: «We treat our cars right, but not out body». The point is that we don’t take good enough care about ourselves. If our car is driven by diesel, we fill diesel. Why don’t we fill it with anything else? Anything else than diesel in a diesel car would harm the engine. We eat food and drink stuff that harms our health. Bottom line; we’re taking more care of our «things» than our body. I noticed this weekend that I’m harming my body too much. That’s why I’m going to start working out for real now. In addition, I’m going to stick to a healthy diet. Yes guys, I’m going to change my life a little bit. :-)
Hope you enjoyed this short blog. :-)
Here’s the recipe of the smoothie made of coffee and bananas. You gotta try it!
Banana and Coffe Milkshake
Two drinks requires:
- 3 dl of milk (10 ounce)
- 4 large spoons of coffee powder (the powder used when adding boiling water and coffee to the cup) at omce)
- 3 dl of vanilla ice-cream (10 ounce)
- 2 frozen bananas
How to make it:
Put the milk in the blender, add the coffee powder (remember: don’t use powder for coffee machines). Then carefully run the blender. Don’t mix it for too long. Make sure it’s just mixed a little bit. Afterwards, add HALF of the vanilla ice and mix it carefully in the blender. Then add the rest of the vanilla ice and blend it well, not carefully. When it’s perfectly mixed, add the frozen bananas and mix it well. You’re now ready to serve.
Advise: This recipe gives to cups if the glasses are in medium size. Use medium sized glass, otherwise you’ll have to through away the rest. The drinks are perfect right after it’s made. Don’t put this in the fridge.

New Generation for NRK?
Hey everyone!
Happy on a Sunday. Could it get any better? I gotta do some work today, but I still got a chance to enjoy the last day of my vacation I think. What the heck? There is going to be a ski race on TV now, and the lap is so strange. Well, they may do whatever they want. I feel sorry for them anyway. It is a 30 km pursuit for men, so I guess they’re trained for that kind of thing. I know I’m not, so it’s easier for me to say that it’s a strange lap.
OMG. I feel sorry for the guy all the way to the back of the skiers. It’s impossible for him to get at the front. Lol. Why is he joining anyway? I feel sorry for him. He’s like: dude, slow down and let me through. Haha. Now I’m just being bad. Good luck to the guy all the way at the back. Remember, never say never. ;-)
Speaking of never saying never, the film Justin Bieber is in obviously were released at theaters yesterday. I didn’t have any huge plans of seeing it, but maybe I will. The genre obviously is more of a documentary kinda thing. So perhaps it’s just a documentary that belongs on TV instead. I don’t know, but if I choose to buy a ticket for the premiere in Norway, I really expect it to be good. I’m not a fan of documentaries, so it better not bore me out. If this documentary is going to be good, it better kick Discovery Channel’s butt. ;-)
Since I’m already talking about movies, I might say a little about the Norwegian TV channel NRK again. They really need to plan their broadcasting and such before broadcasting. One of the clips they were going to broadcast, and it didn’t work, so they sent the previous clip they broadcasted. I saw the same clip twice because they didn’t plan the broadcasting good enough. Also, some times they put the cameras at random spots of things that doesn’t make any sense.
It sounds like I’m trying to slain the whole channel, but for the hundred time: YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR CHANNEL! It feels so amateurish, and you should look better when an event like this is on the air. When the action happens, you do it pretty well, but I’m not satisfied about the quality you are giving us at the live shows. Do something about it, please.
The other channels that has live shows, they manage to do it pretty awesome. but NRK kinda screws it up a little bit. Use other TV channels as examples, and learn for them so you can become a better channel. You guys in NRK are doing a good job, but you could do it better - I know.
This better not harm my future carrier, because I’m helping the TV network to get better. If no one tells them what needs to be improved, then they’re gonna get weaker and weaker. We don’t want our oldest TV network to fade away because the quality is dropping. I’m helpful for you. I’m a little harsh while criticizing, but that’s how you learn. If I had a day with those who controls the broadcasting, I would help them as much as I can. I’m not educated. I’m not smart, but I know how to enjoy television. Listen to the viewers. They know. I just want the best for NRK, the other viewers and myself. :-)
Maybe they need a guy like me. A guys who’s doing nothing else than watching television to help them improve the quality of the broadcasting. Maybe that’s what I should do later in my carrier - work at a television network. I can criticize as much as I want. The TV network might not lift a finger to do something different because I say so. Maybe I should educate myself to help improving these networks without ruining it. We are a new generation. We know how TV should be.
I think Statoil is the one to day: «The heroes of tomorrow». Maybe it’s not only within music and sports. Maybe they need some heroes to improve TV as well. I’m just throwing a thought here. I don’t think anyone would mind improving a TV network. I wouldn’t mind if you told me in the comments if you agree or not. Is it just me who notice these kinda things or do you also notice them? Tell me.
Well, that better do for today. Hope you enjoy, and please comment or something. :-)

I’m Back!! :)
Hi guys.
You think the mood is any better? Bite me if it is. Seriously, I’m tired of all the things that bothers me. If only I could stop it.
Well, a blog is a blog; you gotta do it sometimes to keep the interests alive. I do got one thing that’s great. I heard Alexis Jordan on the TV today. She were on a Norwegian talk show, and sang the song «Happiness» at the end of the show. She’s pretty good. I’ll definitely buy her debut album when it releases. I don’t know whether to buy it on iTunes or for real, like a CD. I think iTunes is the best. I got a Macbook, I got a iTunes account... it’s not like I’m gonna throw away my Macbook next year or something. So I guys I’ll buy it on iTunes. I’ve never done it before. Kinda cool, I guess. At least you got some good things out of me. :-)
You know, maybe it’s just me not being able to be positive right now. When I think about it, I can let the thoughts stay at the side for a moment. But I guess it’s hard to leave them. The assignment I got I think isn’t gonna be done until Friday next week. That gives me 7 days more. The other things that bothering me: those things have been bothering me for some time now. I just got to think about them this week. It hasn’t bothered me a lot before. Why is it coming now? Is it my own fault that things are what they are? Whatever it is, it’s time to let it go. Life goes on. I can’t waste it on some bullshit that’s been going on for a long time without bothering me. Sorry for using the word «bullshit» online, but I’m dominating myself! I’m me, and nobody else are. The person I am every day, is me and no one else. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls: I think I’m finally am back!! :-D
Now, to prove it I wanna thank all of my readers for clicking in and checking in my life. You obviously care enough to read my blog, and I hope you’ll keep reading. When the video blog is up, it is for real. That’s when my dreams are becoming reality. I love you all. Peace to you all! <3

The Fear of Failure
Hey you!
Today I had to do some assignments that has to be done by tomorrow, so I’m kinda stressed a little. I sat down for a moment and thought about how much I actually care about my future. I’m working my ... off just to have a good carrier. It’s like nothing else than my future matters, but that’s not entirely true. A carrier isn’t the place you seek happiness, but it’s a part of your happiness. I feel that I have to get a good carrier to have a good life, but that doesn’t make sense. Love to friends and family is where happiness comes from. Doing what you want is where happiness comes from.
The carrier should only be a part of surviving, but in my case it’s more than that. I know I can be happy without having a great carrier, but my brain obviously doesn’t. I’m not gonna stop getting a good carrier, but the fear of not becoming happy if I don’t have a good carrier is there. That’s why I’m working as much as I do. I can’t remember the last time I played my XBOX for instance.
I’m not complaining, but I’m sharing information you need. Your carrier isn’t everything, but it is a part of it. My biggest ambitions is to move to the United States of America. I don’t need the best carrier in the world to be able to move there. My point is: your happiness doesn’t come from your carrier, but do your best to get a good one. After saying all of this, I won’t change the way of working. I’m gonna succeed, but if I don’t do it well, I’m not gonna let that ruin my happiness. You get it? It’s the «after-effect» I don’t want to fear. That’s the main point.
Seriously, I checked flight ticket costs yesterday to Phoenix, Arizona. I checked the costs of hotels and I was about to search for apartments until I understood that it’s crazy to start searching now. I’m not sure if I wanna stay in Phoenix, but I searched it anyway. I’ve been to Phoenix, Arizona and it’s damn hot. Anyway, I’m kinda excited about the wish of moving to USA. What I’m probably will do is to move there for a year, go back to Norway for a year and if I miss the USA (which I probably will), I’ll move back. I don’t wanna move immediately if it seems like I ain’t gonna like it.
Argh, I can’t stop thinking about the video blogging. I gotta start soon. Why haven’t I started yet? I wanna vlog, now! I gotta find a name for the vlog if I’m gonna start. I can’t call it «Bjoernars vlog», I’m not satisfied with that. No one has participated to the contest of finding a name. Well, no one wants to win. If you have an idea, comment on «Win a Secret». I think I posted it in January. I was thinking about calling it Brilliant! , but there was some sort of an art group with that name before. I don’t know if it’s legal to use that kind of name if someone else has had it. Give me suggestions!!!
Well, that’ it for today. Stay tuned for more, and I’ll catch up with you.

Computer for Your Needs
Good morning, good evening or good night! The sun can't always be at the same spot for everyone. :-D
Anyway, it's morning here, and I just gotta say that this is a lovely morning. I woke up at 9 AM, got myself some coffee, watched the news and just felt good on a Sunday morning. Ah, life is good. I love days like these. Waking up to a good mood is the best thing in the world. Inhale, exhale and smile. The four words to happiness.
I reed a review of an aPad this morning. Now, you might think I wrote it wrong, since you know about the iPad. Seriously, there is an aPad. The review I reed really didn't find anything good about it. It's 1/4 of the price of an iPad, and it obviously is a bad example of a copy. The price says everything; a cheap "iPad" is too good to be true. The reviewers didn't find anything good about it. It is slow, it has a bad screen... I could go on for the entire day. They didn't find anything good in the aPad. A guy I know has an aPad, and it works good enough for him. So it's not like you shouldn't buy it, but if you compare it with the iPad, it's way smarter to buy an iPad (and be happy about it). :-)
I gotta say; Apple delivers the expectations you are looking for. I've had this Macbook for 4 days, and I'm very happy about the fact that I bought it. I love it. It's easy to use, it's fast, it has the functions I need and it's just making me extremely happy every time I turn it on. Unlike the PC, it doesn't make any noise AT ALL. It's the most silent computer I've ever used. That's awesome. The only negative thing I can tell about the Macbook Pro right now, is that it gets hot when having it on you legs, but a PC do that as well. What else can you expect? I don't have anything against PC, but for my needs I love the Macbook Pro even more. I got the advise of installing Windows 7 on the Mac, but I like the OSX much more than Windows 7. This is just my needs and what I feel is the best for me. If you think the opposite of me, then I won't say anything about that. I think PC is a good computer as well. It's an easy way of getting done what you need to get done, and it's a smart computer.
I always see the battle between PC and Mac online, but I think you should choose the computer that fits your needs and feels comfortable for you. I this case, the Macbook Pro really is better for me than a PC. I use a PC for my music producing right now, because I got an external sound card that only comes to PC. Therefore I'm still using PC, unless I get an iMac or something. PC is great for music producing, so I'm not gonna sell it and buy an iMac (yet). Macbook Pro also is great for music producing, if not better. But since it's a laptop (that I will be carrying around), I'll have to buy some easy portable devices for recording and not something large like the external sound card. That's why I'm using the HP Touchsmart for a music producing computer. It fits well in my studio, but my portable Macbook Pro wouldn't fit there since I'm carrying it around. I'll use the Macbook Pro to record things as I travel, but not as a computer that stays in a basement.
I don't see the reason why it's called PC vs. Mac, Windows vs. Snow Leopard and so on. Both of the computers and operators is great. You just need to find the one that suits you and your needs.
Wow, I've been pretty effective this morning. I've done the dishes, washed some clothes and reed a little of a book called "Stormbreaker". Still, I haven't eaten breakfast yet. That's not good, and I'm kinda hungry. I gotta get something to eat. What's great about a blog is that you don't have to wait for me to eat. I haven't eat anything right now, but right now I have. Lol, I have a strange sense of humor. :-D
Well, I'm gonna finish todays blog right here, but I hope you enjoyed it. If you like my blog, please click here and like the page. Also, if you like, browse through the blog archive to read some other blogposts. I hope you'll have a good morning/evening/night, and I'll catch up with you later!

Ambitions Requires Sacrifices
Hi guys!
It's finally weekend again, and it's time to relax. Or isn't? Weekends is the days you have one or two days off from work or school, but does that mean that you don't need to worry about school or work? Unfortunately, it doesn't. Some jobs and some schools gives you a task you need to work on in the weekend. If you don't do it in the weekend, you might risk your job or get a F on an assignment at school. Therefore you know that your task has to be done/developed by the weekend. The reason we get those task I think is because you do have a job to do. If you want to keep your job, you do the task. If you want good grades after school, you do the task. Sometimes you got to sacrifice a weekend for a task.
No one says you have to do it in the weekend, but do not blame your boss or your teacher for giving a task right before a weekend. The only thing they care about is that it gets done, and gets done in time. That's their job. If they didn't care, then they probably wouldn't kept the job they have. If they aren't heartless, they'll understand the fact that you want the weekend taking time to relax. Still, it's their duty to give you these tasks if necessary. You can have the nicest boss/teacher in the world, but it's still has to do the duty of giving you the tasks necessary.
If the timing of the task isn't good, you just have to live with that. It's up to you how much you care about your future. We've seen examples of people not caring about doing the tasks they get, if not for having to do it in the weekend. They've lost their jobs. They've gotten a bad grade, or maybe failed completely at school. If this is what you want, then don't do the task(s) you're suppose to do. If you DON'T want to lose your job, good grades or what you need to fulfill your dream, do your task(s)!
Let's look at this from a different angle. You want to become a lawyer. You've done great at school when the tasks don't has to be done between the weekend. When you suddenly gets a task you have to do in the weekend to succeed, do you do it? Do you sacrifice one single weekend for your great carrier or do you take the weekend as if it's the days you have to relax? You get the task on Friday, and it has to be done by Tuesday. Do you wait until Monday and not having a full task to return, or do you take the weekend (or a big part of the weekend) to do it? If you wanted to be a lawyer, you would do it in the weekend. If the job as a lawyer only is a dream, then you would wait until Monday.
It's all about how much you care for your ambitions. The reason I'm talking about this, is because I'm/have been into this kind of tasks. I have a big dream of becoming a man with a great job and living in the United States of America. If I'm gonna make that dream come true, I have to do those tasks that requires the weekend to do it. It's not motivating to do it in the weekend, but what has to be done just has to be done. That's the only way to accomplish your dreams if the weekend needs to be sacrificed to make it come true.
Your friends might be assaulted for believing that you consider job/school over them. The truth is that you can be a good person and/or have a great life without being the number one. You can fail at a task, and it still means that you can have a great life. You don't need the job you want to feel or have the great life you want. The only reason I brought this up is because you should try to follow your ambitions. I did not say that you should do the task just to get a good life. That would be lying. You should do the task to fulfill you ambitions. That's what it is about. I have some huge ambitions, but I know that if I don't fulfill my ambitions I'm still gonna have a great life. Your happiness isn't to the right of this text.
Conclusion: Happiness isn't in cash, it's in your friends and family. Ambitions might be in cash, but ambitions doesn't has to be a part of happiness. It shouldn't either.
I hope you enjoyed today's blog. I didn't get to write a blog last night, therefore I made a better blog today than yesterdays blog would have been. Stay tuned for more!
I'll see you later!

There for You!
Hi guys!
What's up with you? I'm feeling extremely happy today. I don't know why, but I do. Today has been very relaxing. There's been a minimum of stress and a good day to be happy at. I can't stop thinking about my Macbook Pro which is on the way to my arms. I'm so excited! I feel very positive about working hard these last 6 mounts I got left here. I'm getting assignments I feel good about and just know that I got the strength to work hard. I see other people being annoyed by everything today, while I'm just having a good time. Too bad that they can't be happy. Someone's always annoyed. But I don't get influenced by others anger, depression +++. I'm happy, don't deny it! :-D
There was a dog running by our house for a while ago. I was checking if someone were going for a walk with it, but it was the dog all alone. I tried to whistle after him, but he didn't come back. I wonder who owns him. There aren't a lot of people living in this town, so I would probably know the owner if I only knew who it was.
OMG I love Katy Perry. Suddenly I like here music. It's weird. The first time I heard her, I didn't like her. My mind change after I heard "Firework", "Teenage Dream" and "If We Ever Meet Again". I guess I'm changing some more. Anyway, she's awesome. I used to be all about metal and such thing, but now I'm actually into Katy Perry, Taio Cruz, David Guetta, Rihanna and more. That's a good thing. I can't live with metal, and only metal. Therefore it's good that I listen to other genres and fall in love with them as well. So as you know, Katy Perry is the greatest for now.
I seriously want to move to the United States now. I think I'm gonna try living there for a year or two maybe, and see if it's something for me. I can't move without trying to live there first, can I? I don't know where in the US I should move in that case. I was thinking about Phoenix, Los Angeles or New York. I like the city (also some nature environment depending on what kind of nature environment), therefore it's natural to live in a city. If some of you got some ideas of great places to live in the US, tell me. I wanna know so I can consider it. Why US, you might ask. The reasons for wanting to move to the US most be because of the opportunities the USA has, the large range of items (like we don't have in Norway) and because the way the wealthy Americans live. It's hard to express all of the reasons, but moving to the US feels right (and tempting).
If I move, I know at least that my life in Norway has been wonderful. I'm not moving yet, so I can't say this too soon. But I know that I got friends standing up for me when I need it. I always has someone to turn to if I need it. Despite that I haven't been the nicest, coolest and greatest human on earth, I always have someone to turn to. That means a lot. When I wonder about something, someone always answers. When I need comfort, someone always gives me that. I know the greatest people in the world. Not because they're Nelson Mandela or something, but because they are there for me. If and when I move to the US, I know that I've left a place where people care about me. And that I can return with the smiles I got before I went. I've felt sorrow, disappointment, anger and stress. But what I've also felt is happiness. That's what left in my mind. Everybody goes through all these difficult things, but your happiness will be in your mind forever. I love the people that care about me. Thank you. You mean the world to me.
When I was younger I thought I had no one to turn to if I needed it. I thought no one cared about me, and that I was just a background. I was wrong. Very wrong. I guess I didn't take time to think. I got a lot of people to turn to. So do you if you feel the same way as I did. Just think about who you talk to every day. Who do you smile to? Who do you admire? These persons is there for you. It might just be a song that makes you happy. It saves your day, and it counts as someone who is there for you. But you don't care about this "friendship" type of talk I do, so I'm gonna stop.
You know, tell me what you want on the blog...
I'm done for today, I gotta get up early getting out of town.
I'll see you later!

Everyday Needs A Smile
Hi guys!
I apologize for not posting anything yesterday, but I didn't have time to do a post. Well you know, that's what happens. I got a post today; be happy about it. I can see your sad face all the way from where you live to here. Come on, give me a smile! I can promise you that your day is going to be much better if you just smile a little. I was up at 0550 this morning, taking a shower, sat down with a cup of coffee and a lovely breakfast, and just give myself a big smile; it clearly makes my day better. It's all about thinking positive about the day itself. If you're thinking that the entire day is gonna suck, then it will. Just think positive about the day. There are obviously a lot of people thinking negatively about the day they live everyday.
I just saw that Jerry Brown toke the position as The Governor of California, which was Arnold Schwarzenegger's position before. I don't know much about Arnold Schwarzenegger's time as a governor, but if this is what people want then great. I'm up pretty early as you might already know, so I'm getting the news today. That's where I heard about the governor thing. That's what great about getting up early; getting the news and be able to discuss them with others.
OMG I'm like the happiest person on earth today! First of all, I had a great morning. Second of all; I ordered my Macbook Pro today! OMG I'm so excited :-D. I've been nagging about the Macbook for a long time, and finally I'm gonna get it. I'm extremely excited, you have NO idea! It's a different operative system than what I'm used to. I've been using PC my entire life, and now I'm switching to Mac. I hope it isn't hard to learn. For those who's using Mac; is Mac hard to learn? I mean, when you first got it; did you struggle when trying to learn it? I hope it comes easily. It's not illegal to comment, you know. Let me know if there is something special about Mac that I need to be ware of.
Today has been a very joyful day, but I think my blogging today ends here. Sorry for the short blogs lately, but I got a lot to do.
I'll see you later.

The Way You Like It!
Hi guys!
So today I've been doing the exact same thing as yesterday, except that I've been working out with my brother. OMG I feel so pumped! My brother is like the best training coach I can get. He is after all my brother. Check out his training blog here. It's a great blog; I love it. I think you might get some really good tips for bodybuilding if that interest you. If you don't give a crap, then visit the site anyway. You're my special reader if you click it. Don't waste this chance; click it! Anyway, I had a great time working out and it felt good to get back on track. Even if I hadn't got a lot out of the workout, it means a lot just to spend some time with him. It's Christmas, the time of the year when family and friends means the most.
Tomorrow's Christmas eve; the day where we eat and unwrap gifts. I know you do it on Christmas day (25th in America), but luckily it's a part of our tradition. Santa gets to Norway earlier than in America. Haha! We don't like to change our tradition, do we? It often fails when we try to give a shit about Christmas tradition, so we keep it the way we do. We don't open gifts at December 25th. That would be so wrong. Although, if and when I move to the US, I will follow those traditions if I'm celebrating Christmas there. Therefore traditions is also based on where you are. Other families and other countries has different traditions they like to follow. They gotta keep it that way, otherwise it's all pointless. You can say: "Oh, can't we just give a crap about traditions for a while?". Later you'll realize that it was a stupid idea. Some things works out fine when skipping traditions. But some things just have to be the way it is. Like your Christmas tradition. I'm not gonna tell you how to celebrate your Christmas. It's your tradition, and you should live with it. If this is the place for getting new/get out of traditions, then I'm not writing. Keep your tradition. That's where your happiness comes from, believe me.
I won't be writing on Christmas eve, therefore I'm wishing you a merry Christmas. You guys have been great. Despite your silence, you've been a great audience. You've come back to read the blog several times (I can see in the stats), and you guys seem interested in what I write. Let's hope your silence disappears soon so I can hear you to. I'm changing the settings on the comments, so everyone can leave a comment. Please do, it would mean the world to me if you left a comment. Just say hi or something. Anyway, I love you and Merry Christmas!
